We’re looking for reliable people to join our production team making timber fence panels at our Lichfield yard. You’ll work at your own station with full training, so if you’re hands-on, dependable and happy with steady production work, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start available.
What you’ll be doing
- Building our timber fence panels from frame to finished product, at your own workstation
- Assembling and fixing the timber with a nail gun
- Setting the slats straight, square and true
- Running the production machinery that finishes each panel
- Keeping standards high, so every panel that leaves your station is one we’re proud of
What we’re looking for
- Reliable, with good timekeeping
- Enthusiastic, with a positive, can-do attitude
- Good attention to detail, and pride in a job done well
- Keen to roll their sleeves up and be part of a growing team
- Any woodworking or hands-on trade experience is a real plus (though it’s not essential; we’ll train the right person)
Good to know
- It’s physical, hands-on work, but we’ll teach you the right way to lift and handle the timber.
- It’s a busy, active yard, so you’ll be on your feet all day.
- We provide all the safety workwear you need: steel toecap boots, hi-vis and gloves.
- Casual dress.
- Free parking at the yard, and a bus stop close by.
- If your application is successful, we’ll invite you in for an interview and a look round, followed by a one-week trial.

For over 35 years, we’ve made and supplied quality timber fencing to homeowners and trade customers. Our panels are built in our own Lichfield workshop from responsibly sourced timber and delivered on our own fleet, backed by three West Midlands stores and a friendly team you can reach in store, by phone or online.
