For over 35 years, A&P Fencing has manufactured and supplied high-quality timber fencing to both homeowners and trade customers. We run our own delivery vehicles, so orders arrive on time and in good order. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our delivery and collection.
Delivery costs
Standard delivery (3–5 working days)
Standard delivery covers any order except bulk aggregates, and the cost depends on how far you are from your nearest depot. If you're local to our Garretts Green store you'll pay our Garretts Green rate. We'll be in touch to arrange a suitable delivery date once your order's received.

Bulk & heavy items
Bulk & heavy delivery (3–5 working days)
Loose aggregates, plus heavy items like slabs and paving, delivered within 20 miles.
How bulk & heavy delivery works
- Loose aggregates (sand, gravel, soil and stone) are tipped straight off the van onto your driveway or a firm, level surface, not in bags.
- Slabs and paving are unloaded by hand and left kerbside, as close to the front of your property as we can safely reach.
- Please make sure there's clear, safe access and a spot for the load to go.
- If you'd rather keep your driveway clean for loose aggregates, put a tarpaulin down and we'll tip straight onto it.
- Each load carries up to 2 tonnes. Larger orders need more than one van, so each additional 2 tonnes adds the amount shown.
- We deliver bulk and heavy items within 20 miles of our Lichfield depot. Your exact price is worked out at checkout.
- Bulk and heavy orders aren't eligible for free delivery.

Local to Garretts Green? Bulk delivery from our Garretts Green store is just £10 for up to 2 tonnes within 5 miles, then £10 for each additional 2 tonnes, up to 10 tonnes.
Delivery details
Good to know
- We deliver Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, and Saturdays until noon, or until 3pm from our Garretts Green store (not Sundays).
- All deliveries are made kerbside, to the nearest safe, accessible point.
- We plan our routes daily, so we can't promise an exact time, but if we're passing sooner we'll get you on the earliest delivery we can. Add any preference or access notes at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate.
- Orders placed after 4pm or at the weekend are processed the next working day.
- Not going to be home? You don't need to be in for delivery, just note that once your order's left with you, it's in your care.

- We'll hold your order for 14 days. Please bring your order confirmation when you come.
- Someone else can collect for you, as long as they have your order number and details.
- Make sure your vehicle's big enough, especially for bulky items or bulk loads.

Delivery FAQs
There are no delivery options at checkout?
This usually means one of two things: it's a large or bulk order that needs a quote from us, or your address is just outside our standard delivery area. Start a live chat or give the team a call on 01543 256 567 and we'll let you know what we can do.
How do I know how much my delivery will cost?
Add your items to the basket and enter your full address at checkout, and you'll see the exact cost for your order. The guide prices on this page give a rough idea in the meantime.
At checkout I can see standard delivery and a Garretts Green option, which do I pick?
If you're offered a Garretts Green dispatch option, it means you're close to our Garretts Green store. It's the cheaper of the two and comes direct from there, so that's the one to choose.
How will I know when my order's coming?
Once your order's ready, we'll be in touch to arrange your delivery on a date that suits you and let you know when it's on its way.
I've got steps or awkward access. Where will it be left?
Our deliveries are kerbside, so we drop to the nearest safe, accessible point. We can't carry goods through the house, up steps or round the back. If your access is tricky, let us know when you order and we'll do our best to help.
What should I do when my order arrives?
Please check it over when it's delivered or collected. If anything's damaged or missing, let us know within two days.
What does "loose tipped" mean?
Our bulk aggregates are delivered loose tipped, which means tipped straight off the van onto your driveway or a firm, level surface, rather than bagged. You'll need clear access and somewhere for the load to go.
Do you deliver outside the 50-mile area?
Our standard delivery area is within 50 miles. For larger trade and wholesale orders we can often deliver further, so give us a call on 01543 256 567 and we'll let you know.
