Length of fencing

Enter the total length of your fencing run. Posts sit at 3m (10ft) centres, with a post at each end.

Featheredge boards

All our featheredge boards are tanalised (pressure-treated), 125mm wide, and laid with a 25mm overlap – around 10 boards per metre.

Gravel boards

Gravel boards run along the bottom of the fence to keep the boards off the ground and protect against rot – they are 6in high, so they add a little to your overall height.

Posts

Posts hold your fence up and support the boards. We’ll automatically work out the right post height for your fence formation.

Rails

Rails are the horizontal bars fixed between each post that the boards are nailed to.
