4×2 C16 Treated Timber Joist (100mm x 47mm)

Our 4×2 treated timber joists are commonly used to form the structural framework beneath decking boards, providing a strong, stable base for decking installations.

Manufactured from pressure treated timber to help protect against rot and decay, these joists are suitable for long-term outdoor use. The easy-edge profile means the edges are rounded, giving a smoother, neater finish.

As well as decking subframes, 4×2 timbers are also widely used for hanging gates onto brickwork or concrete and for general fencing and construction tasks, including supporting featheredge boarding.

Each joist measures approximately 100mm × 50mm (4×2) and is pressure treated for durability, with an easy-edge finish for a clean, consistent appearance.

Available in 2.4m and 4.8m lengths, with a choice of green or brown treatment.

Delivery timeframes:

Most orders are delivered within 3–5 working days. Orders placed after 4pm or at weekends are processed on the next working day. During Bank Holidays and peak periods, lead times may be slightly extended.

Once your order has been placed, a member of our team will contact you to arrange a delivery date.

Bulk deliveries:

Bulk loads are delivered using different vehicles and are priced separately based on the total weight of your order. Charges increase in weight bands, with standard delivery rates applying to lighter orders and higher rates applied as load size increases. Bulk deliveries are only available within selected delivery areas and are not offered beyond these zones — please enter your postcode at checkout to confirm availability. Free delivery promotions apply to standard orders only and do not apply to bulk loads.

How are deliveries made?

As a family-run business, we operate our own delivery fleet and drivers. We do not use third-party couriers. This allows us to maintain control over timing, handling and care, ensuring your products arrive in the best possible condition.

All deliveries are made on a kerbside basis. This means goods will be placed as close to the front of your property as safely possible, such as on a driveway or front garden area.

Bulk materials are delivered and tipped loose where access allows.

You do not need to be present if safe access and clear delivery instructions have been provided. Responsibility passes once goods have been delivered.
